Decide if you’d like an applique or not.  A towel with one applique usually has two hearts on it or something that coordinates with the fabric.  A towel with two appliques usually coordinates with the fabric.

Choose to personalize your towel.  Try a name or just an initial.
Personalization is available on towels with one applique or no (other) appliques.
